New Delhi:Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw who visited Delhi Railway station to take stalk of the cleanliness drive on Friday stated that work is being done expeditiously to connect Kashmir with the Indian railway network.
Taking to ETV Bharat, he added that there are some technical challenges in it, but the engineers are executing the project in the best way. Work to connect Baramulla of Kashmir with Jammu through train has also been progressing and it is expected that the project will be completed before 2024.
Speaking over the current situation of the Bullet train project he said, "it is a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The land has been acquired by the Railways till Vapi in Gujarat. Six pillars have also been finalised. Asia's largest Geotechnical laboratory has also been set up for the project. The project will be finalised soon "
