Priyanka Gandhi alleges her children's Instagram accounts hacked

Congress General Secretary and UP election in-charge Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday alleged that the Instagram accounts of her children were being hacked. This came days after former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav had made a similar allegation, saying his phone was being tapped by the Yogi Adityanath government.

Lucknow:Congress National General Secretary and the party's Uttar Pradesh election in-charge Priyanka Gandhi alleged on Tuesday that the Instagram accounts of her children were being hacked.

Gandhi made the statement as she reached the capital on Tuesday, after her 'Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon' rally. The campaign is meant to promote women empowerment in the state. She said the effect of the slogan was visible in the state.

"The Instagram accounts of my children are being hacked. Does the government have no other work?", Gandhi said on Tuesday after her rally in UP's Rae Bareli, when asked for her thoughts on SP Supremo Akhilesh Yadav's phone tapping allegation, on her way back to Delhi.

Yadav recently claimed that his phones were being tapped by the UP state administration under CM Yogi Adityanath.

"All our telephonic conversations have been heard. This 'anupyogi' chief minister himself listens to the recordings of some people every evening," Yadav had said on Sunday.

Alongside her comment on the alleged Instagram account hacking, Gandhi on Tuesday also noted that the PM had been forced to bow down before the collective power of women in Uttar Pradesh, adding that she was quite happy because of this.
