Explaining the reason for replacing PM-JAY in the state with CM-JAY i.e. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that in the PM scheme, the central government was giving only 60% of the premium amount of health insurance of Antyodaya family, while 40% to be spent by the state government. At the same time, out of 57.17 lakh, about 28.17 lakh such families are not in Antyodaya but are poor. Jharkhand government spends 100% of the premium of their insurance amount. The Jharkhand government bears most of the entire insurance amount, so how will the name be in the name of the Prime Minister.
