Police raid rave party in K'taka, over 100 detained

Police detained more than 100 men and women for holding a rave party and consuming banned narcotics. Superintendent of Police Srinivas Gowda and his team raided the rave party which was hosted at a private estate near Honkaravalli in Aluru taluk.

Hassan/Aluru (Karnataka):Police detained more than 100 men and women for holding a rave party and consuming banned narcotics.

Superintendent of Police Srinivas Gowda and his team raided the rave party which was hosted at a private estate near Honkaravalli in Aluru taluk.

Police also seized 20 luxury cars and more than 50 bikes.

Despite strict regulations on public gathering, people came to the party from various districts.

According to police, participants reached Hassan after night curfew was imposed in Bengaluru. Many of them travelled from Bengaluru under the pretext of 'emergency services', police added.

Meanwhile, police are collecting information about the program organizer who has gone absconding.

The detainees are being held at the Veerashaiva Kalyana Mandapam in Aluru town.
