Hyderabad: Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra's javelin is among the items that have received the highest bids at an e-auction of gifts and mementos received by the Prime Minister.
As many as 1,330 mementos are being auctioned in the e-auction, including gifts given to the Prime Minister by the winners of Tokyo Olympics 2020 and Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
The base price of Neeraj Chopra's Javelin was kept at Rs 1 crore, in a single day his bid has reached 10 crores.
Similarly, Paralympics Gold medalist Sunil Antil's javelin has reached almost 10 crores. The base price of Antil's javelin was also kept at one crore.
The price of the boxing gloves of Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain, who won a bronze medal for India in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, has also reached 10 crores. The initial price of these blue-colored gloves, which also has a signature of Lovlina, was kept at Rs 80 lakh.
