New Delhi: Delhi's Patiala House Court has sent six suspected terrorists - Jan Mohammed Ali Sheikh, Osama, Moolchand, Mohammed Abu Bakar, Jeshan Qamar and Amir Javed - to 14-day police custody after they were presented in the court today.
The Delhi Police Special Cell on Tuesday had arrested six people, including two Pakistan-trained terrorists during a multi-state operation. As per Delhi Police, the arrested suspects were planning to carry out targeted killings and bomb blasts across the country. The sleuths also recovered explosives and firearms from the suspects. The four suspects have been identified as Jan Mohammed Ali Sheikh, Zeeshan Qamar, Osama, and Mohd. Abu Bakar.

Police had raided several cities, including Delhi, and these suspects were reportedly financed by the underworld. The suspects who have been arrested are Jan Mohammad Sheikh alias Sameer Kalia, a resident of Mumbai; Osama alias Sami, a resident of Jamia Nagar, Delhi; Moolchand alias Sadhu, a resident of Rae Bareli, UP; Zeeshan Qamar, a resident of Prayagraj, UP; Mohammad Abu Bakar, a resident of Bahraich, and Mohammad Amir Javed, a resident of Lucknow.
According to the Special Cell, among those held, Osama and Zeeshan returned from Pakistan with terrorist training in the past. The duo was taken to Pakistan via Muscat. Police also recovered explosives and foreign weapons have also been recovered from these two suspects.

Police further added saying that the suspects were being funded for carrying out terrorist attacks in many cities and weapons were also provided. There were many Hindutva leaders in their target list, officials said, adding that their plan was to carry out bomb blasts in Delhi, UP, Maharashtra and many other states.
