New Delhi: With the Union government adamant over its stand, turning down all demands to discuss the farm laws or the recent Pegasus snooping issue in the Parliament, opposition MPs are contemplating to have a 'Mock Parliament Session'.
Ever since the start of the Parliament session, opposition parties have been demanding a discussion over the Pegasus issue in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Various meetings of like-minded parties have been held and the opposition has made it clear that they won't let the house run until the government agrees to have a discussion in the parliament.
Towards the same end, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has, on Tuesday, invited all like-minded MPs for a breakfast meeting at Constitution Club, here in Delhi, which is close to the Parliament. The meeting has been called to chalk out a strategy for the Monsoon Session, specifically focusing on the Pegasus row and the farm laws.
While the invitation is being sent by the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi is going to be the host of this breakfast meet.
