India has crossed its own record of 1.33 crore daily vaccinations. Meanwhile, the Press Information Bureau in Telangana reported a record breaking pace of inoculation in the state.
"Record-breaking pace of vaccination today! 527 doses per second being administered today, and counting! #LargestVaccineDrive#VaccineSeva," the government agency tweeted.

New Delhi:On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 71st birthday, the BJP has planned to achieve a record number of vaccinations. Today's vaccination drive is part of the ‘Seva Diwas’, the BJP has been conducting since 2014 - the year Modi became the prime minister for the first term.
In the last six years, the Seva Diwas celebrations were observed for a week. However, as Modi completes 20 years in public service this year, the Seva Diwas celebrations will be observed for 20 days, the BJP said.
The BJP is aiming to administer 1.5 crore doses today, sources in the party said.
