New Delhi: JDU leader Madan Sahni who recently threatened to relinquish his ministerial position, has said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is his leader and he will continue to work under his leadership as an MLA. Sahni had threatened to resign as social welfare minister, saying that the officials do not listen to him and ignore him.
In an exclusive conversation over phone with ETV Bharat, Sahni said he is not leaving the JDU. "I stand by my decision to resign. I will also meet Nitish Kumar as soon as I return to Bihar," he said. The former minister has added that the officers in his ministry will have to change their attitude.
He also said that he is not meeting RJD supremo Lalu Yadav in Delhi. "I'm not even in touch with them," he said. He also added that in such a situation, he is unable to serve the public, so he does not want to remain a minister. He later rushed to Delhi leading to speculations that he would join the RJD.
