Agartala:Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb (বিপ্লব কুমার দেব) on Friday took strong exception to the recent militant ambush that killed two BSF (সীমান্ত নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী) troopers and said not an inch of land would be let to militant groups. Deb, who was addressing the media during the official launch programme of Tripura Tea Development Corporation's (ত্রিপুরা চা উন্নয়ন কর্পোরেশন) annual booklet, also said, “There was a time when Tripura saw massive insurgent movement, but now the situation is under control. However, some people have been trying to trigger tension in the bordering stretches of the state for what the BSF and Tripura police troopers were taking pre-emptive measures."
According to Deb, the blood samples were collected from the spot to ascertain whether any casualties took place on the opposite side (NLFT) too. "The results are still awaited," said Deb.
