NIA carries out raids in Jammu & Kashmir's Shopian district

According to sources, the raids were started in the Rebban Chitragam area of the ​​Shopian district on Tuesday morning and still continuing.

The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday conducted raids at multiple locations across Jammu and Kashmir, including the residence of rector Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah Bandipora, Moulan Rehmatullah Qasmi. Official sources said that the NIA with the assistance of police and paramilitary personnel carried out the raids in Poonch, Rajouri, Pulwama, Shopian, Srinagar, Budgam and Bandipora districts.

Sources said the NIA raided the house of the renowned religious preacher and rector Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah Bandipora and Moulana Rehamtullah Qasmi in Bandipora. The houses of Zahid Ali, lawyer and spokesperson of banned Jamaat-e-Islami, Mehraj-Ud-din in Rajpora and Samam Ahmad Lone, professor at NIT Srinagar.
