Mumbai Police nabs 21-year-old in connection with Salman Khan threat case

Vishnoi had emailed a threatening message to Salman Khan and stated that he will be assassinated just like slain singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Jodhpur (Rajasthan):Jodhpur's Luni police on Sunday nabbed Dhakad Ram Vishnoi who threatened Bollywood actor Salman Khan over Email. Vishnoi, a 21-year-old resident of Rohicha Kalan under Luni police station area, was then handed over to the Mumbai Police. ACP Jaiprakash Atal said that the accused has been taken into custody on the basis of information provided by Mumbai Police.

The Mumbai police launched a probe into the matter and the Punjab police also reached Rajasthan to arrest Vishnoi. The accused will be interrogated by Punjab police after Mumbai police conclude their investigation. Vishnoi had emailed a threatening message to Salman Khan and stated that he will be assassinated just like slain singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Vishnoi, on his social medial handle, has posted several photos with weapons where he claims to be the Congress block president. The local police have launched a thorough probe into the matter. Police also stated that Vishnoi had threatened Moowewala's father over email. Earlier on March 6, a 14-year-old youth from Jodhpur's Dangiawas police station area was also detained in connection with threatening the actor on social media. However, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi had also threatened the actor.

Bishnoi, his assistant Goldy Brar, and another individual have been charged for issuing threats against the actor in a complaint filed with Bandra Police in Mumbai. One of Salman's friends has now revealed the threat mail.

Salman's friend Prashant Gunjalkar reported the incident to the police after the actor's personal assistant received the threat mail. According to Prashant, Goldy Brar in the threat mail asked the actor if he had seen the recent interview of Lawrence Bishnoi, and demanded Salman apologize for killing a blackbuck or prepare to 'face the consequences'. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently being held in Tihar jail.
