MP: Vice chancellor designation to be changed to 'kulguru'

State Higher Education Minister Mohan Yadav has said the designation of vice chancellor in Madhya Pradesh universities will bwe changed to 'kulguru'. For this, the higher education department is preparing a proposal.

Indore: In the universities of Madhya Pradesh, the designation of vice chancellor will be changed to “kulguru”, state Higher Education Minister Minister Mohan Yadav has said.

Mohan Yadav, who arrived here to attend a programme, said that the proposal to change the designation of the Vice-Chancellor would soon be sent to the Chief Minister and the Governor for approval. Apart from this, new courses are also being started in universities across the state under the new education policy.

According to the minister, few days ago a proposal to change the designation of Vice Chancellor had come up for discussion during a meeting of scholars and everyone agreed. The higher education department is now preparing the proposal for this.
