Attari (Punjab):Prahlad Singh Rajput, a resident of Ghosi Patti village of Gourjhamar in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, who had accidentally moved into Pakistan territory around 23 years ago and was languishing in a jail in that country all these years, has been finally handed over to India Monday. He was released at the Attari-Wagah border and brought back to his homeland.
Suffering from mental illness, Prahlad was 33 years old when he sent missing from his home. His relatives lodged a missing report with the police but despite many searches he could not be found. In 2014, police got information that a person named Prahlad Singh was lodged in a Pakistani jail and informed the family members about this. Prahlad is now 56 years old.
