New Delhi:Both Houses were adjourned till Monday amid ruckus by Opposition parties. The stalemate between Opposition and government has been continuing on the fourteenth day of the Monsoon Session as well. Opposition MPs swelled the Well of the House and intensified sloganeering.

Responding to questions of B Lingaiah Yadav, Telangana Rashtra Samiti MP from Telangana, Prasanna Acharya, Biju Janata Dal,MP from Odisha questions on special Budget for agriculture and GDP contribution from the agriculture sector, Shobha Karandlaje, MoS Agriculture and farmers welfare said over the six years the sector's contribution to GDP has increased. The sector contributed 20% of GDP while in 2013-14 it was only 13%.
G K Vasan, Tamil Maanila Congress, Tamil Nadu MP raised the matter of lack of first-class in trains owing to the Covid pandemic. He raised the demand for the first-class sections in trains without AC for the elderly.
