Mob lynching in Mirzapur: Murder accused beaten to death in police presence

A miscreant shot and killed a shopkeeper in broad daylight. Following this attack, the miscreant hid in a nearby house. The locals dragged the murder accused from the house and beat him fiercely. The mob thrashed the miscreant till his death in the presence of police.

The shopkeeper was shot dead due to a mutual dispute in the Dadra village of the Madihan police station area. According to the police, Satyam Patel son of Subhash Patel was shot dead by Danku alias Rishabh Pandey in front of his house in Dadra village of Madihan police station area. The injured Satyam Patel was brought to the Community Health Center, Rajgarh for treatment. There the doctors declared Satyam as brought dead.

The police added that Rishabh Pandey was escaping from the spot after shooting the victim. He was caught by the angry mob and thrashed fiercely. The police took him to Rajgarh Health Center, where the doctors declared him dead too. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem.
