Srinagar:A mysterious blast created panic in the Kralpora village of Chadoora in central Kashmir's Budgam district on Saturday morning. The blast took place at around 7:45 am in the area where some Kashmiri Pandit families also reside. According to police officials, no major damage took place in the incident. A bomb disposal squad visited the incident site and during the preliminary investigation found out that some unexploded old shell might have exploded.

"The preliminary investigation suggests that some unexploded old shell in old building material & scrap piled up there might have exploded which have caused the loud sound," news agency ANI reported quoting Budgam Police.
