Barmer: A case has been registered against three people for allegedly raping a married woman in Rajasthan's Barmer district, police said on Sunday. The incident happened when the woman along with her child was heading towards her village on Saturday evening.
The victim in her complaint said that three men raped her on the pretext of offering her a lift while she was travelling to her village from Barmer. She also alleged that the three accused held her child hostage and threatened her of dire consequences.

Police Superintendent Lata Bagade said, "The victim stays in Barmer and is preparing for government competitive exams. On Saturday evening, while she was returning to her village, three men raped her on the pretext of offering a lift."
