Sirsa: A Mansa court remanded Bittu Singh, who was earlier arrested in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, to 5 days in police custody. The police took Bittu Singh to the civil hospital for medical treatment today. He will be presented in court again on September 17.
Bittu Singh along with his brother Sandeep Kekra allegedly did a recce of the house of slain singer Sidhu Moose Wala prior to the murder. It may be recalled Bittu was arrested from Dabwali earlier. Police said Bittu's aunt lives in the village Musa, where he along with his brother Sandeep Kekra came to conduct recce of the residence of Moose Wala. Bittu is said to have been in contact with Moose Wala’s shooter, Priyavrat Fauji, who was arrested in June. Bittu was wanted in the Sidhu Moose Wala case for a long time.
Bittu Singh's arrest and subsequent police remand came two days after the Punjab police on Saturday said they arrested the sixth and last shooter Bittu Singh, who was allegedly involved in singer Sidhu Moose Wala's murder. The Mansa police arrested him for allegedly doing a recce at Sidhu Moose Wala's house with brother Sandeep Kekra.
