MH : One arrested for making porn film under guise of web series after model files FIR

Police sources said that in the name of shooting a web series a struggling actress was asked to act in a pornographic film by the gand following which she lodged a complaint against four persons at the Charkop police station.

Mumbai: One person has been arrested and police is on the hunt for three others for allegedly shooting pornographic film under the guise of making a web series in Mumbai on Monday. Police sources said that recently it has come to light that a gang has been making pornographic films at a flat in a building under the Charkop police station.

They further revealed that in the name of shooting a web series a struggling actress was asked to act in a pornographic film by the gang following which she lodged a complaint against four persons at the Charkop police station.

According to police sources the arrested has been identified as Yasmin Khan, the producer, and director of the film, while the three other accused are Anirudh Prasad Jangde, Amit Paswan, and Aditya. A case has been registered against the four accused under relevant sections of the IPC and the IT Act, police said.

They also said that the woman had been looking for work in a film over the last few months during which she was contacted by a person called Rahul Thakur for a role in a movie who asked her to contact another person named Keshav.

Keshav asked her to send her resume and photos and told her to contact a man called Rahul Pandye who told her that she has to work in a web series in bold scenes. But she refused since the web series will be released in India.

However, Rahul Thakur again contacted her in October and offered her a role in a web a series being made for a mobile application that will be released abroad and will have bold scenes. The shooting was done at a flat in the Charkop police station area. After a few days, the actress lodged a police complaint upon being informed that the film has been uploaded on a pornographic website.
