Srinagar:An undated video of two Chinese vehicles present at Changthang area of Nyoma block in Ladakh's Leh district surfaced on Sunday. In a five minute 26 seconds viral video, Chinese locals can be seen entering Indian territory and arguing with the locals.

According to the information, the Chinese reportedly raised objections to the grazing of livestock in the area by the local nomads but went back after local authorities protested.

Though the Indian Army is yet to issue a statement on the incident, a local councillor confirmed that the incident took place a few days ago. The incident comes amid the on-going border conflict between India and China along the Line of Control (LoC) which escalated after the Galwan skirmish.

"Two Chinese vehicles had entered into our territory a few days back...I don't have complete information regarding the incident," Ishey Spalzang, who represents Nyoma constituency in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, told ETV Bharat on phone.

"As per my understanding, the Chinese were raising objections to the grazing of livestock in the area by the local nomads," he added.

When asked about the counter steps taken by the administration following the incident, he said, "they came, objected and returned. I feel they won't allow grazing in the area now though the area comes under Indian Territory."
