Davanagere(Karnataka):Plagued with health and financial constraints, three members of a family died by suicide in Karnataka's Davangere district.
Police have identified the deceased as Krishna Naik (44), his wife Suma (32) and their son Dhruva (7).

According to the police, Suma had been terminally ill. Though Krishna, a lorry driver, spent all his savings on her medical procedures, she did not respond to the treatment well. This may have driven the family to take such an extreme step, police suspect.
Police said the exact reason for the suicide will be ascertained only after a thorough investigation.
