Karnataka transfers quarrelling IAS officers

Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner Shilpa Nag had announced her resignation from the IAS levelling allegations against Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri. Nag had alleged Sindhuri of targeting and oppressing her while the latter refuted the allegations.

Mysuru (Karnataka):After Mysuru IAS officers Rohini Sindhuri and Shilpa Nag washed their dirty linen in the open, the state government on Saturday shunted both the officers out of Mysuru with immediate effect.

"Rohini Sindhuri Dasari, the Deputy Commissioner of the Mysuru District, Mysuru, is transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Commissioner for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments," a notification issued by the Karnataka government read. She is replaced by Additional Commissioner for Commercials Taxes for Bengaluru Dr Bagadi Gautham with immediate effect.

Shilpa Nag, Commissioner of the Mysuru City Corporation, has been transferred with immediate effect and has been posted until further orders as Director (e-Governance) Rural Development And Panchayati Raj, the notification stated. Lakshmikanth Reddy, Director of Karnataka Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Limited has replaced her.

A few days ago, Nag had announced her resignation from the IAS levelling allegations against Sindhuri. Nag had alleged Sindhuri of targeting and oppressing her while the latter refuted the allegations.
