Ambala:Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, known for her combative comments, is now facing the heat of the agitating farmers for her alleged derogatory tweets. Agitating farmers, especially women, said that Kangana should not have passed such comments and challenged her to come and sit with them.
Earlier this week, Ranaut misidentified a woman farmer from Punjab as Bilkis Bano, the octogenarian who made international headlines during the anti-CAA protests. Kangana had said that 'Shaheen Bagh Dadi' is available in 100 rupees.
One of the protesting farmers, Harinder Kaur, said, "We will give Rs 2000 to Kangana and we challenge her to come and sit with us in this cold weather. She will know what we are facing."
"How can she say that women protesting here have come here for Rs 100? Many women, leaving their houses and children, are camped here to protest against the laws," Kaur said.
Other women, Jayvinder and Narendra Kaur said that being a woman, Kangana should not have made such remarks about Bilkis Bano.
"Why would we come here just for Rs 100? We have everything. We have come here to fight for our rights," they said.
