'Suspicious' device found in Jammu and Kashmir

A suspicious wooden box including a pressure cooker and wires was found in a drain in Manjkote area in Rajouri district. It is suspected that it could be an explosive device.

Rajouri:A suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered along the highway in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials said.

Police officials said a suspicious wooden box including a pressure cooker and wires was found in a drain in Manjkote area along the Jammu-Poonch highway.

Vehicular movement was halted after the suspicious IED was found. Bomb disposal squad was also called in.
