New Delhi:With Janata Dal (United) demanding a probe on the Pegasus spyware issue, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarakeswar Prasad(तारकेश्वर प्रसाद) has claimed that the JDU's stand on the case will not affect the ruling NDA alliance in the state. In an exclusive interaction with ETV Bharat, the senior BJP leader said that every party has the right to express its views and in this case, the alliance of BJP and JDU is strong in Bihar.
"JDU's stand on the Pegasus(पेगासस) spyware issue will not affect the ruling NDA alliance. The state government will complete its term and it will run for full five years," Tarakeswar Prasad said. The Bihar Deputy Chief claimed that no Pegasus spyware issue ever happened and the Central government has nothing to do with it. He said that the government is ready to discuss the Pegasus case in the Parliament but the Opposition is creating ruckus which is affecting the operations of both the houses and important bills are not being passed.

Prasad also said that the Opposition is trying to defame the entire country by blaming the BJP-led Centre on the Pegasus row but the countrymen will not fall prey to them. Talking about the caste census(जाति जनगणना), he said that the Bihar government has passed a resolution over the caste census issue twice in the assembly and sent it to the Central government as the census has to be done all over India.
