New Delhi: Dismissing the speculations of a new alliance in Bihar, Janata Dal-United (JDU) MP and senior leader Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi said that JDU will not form an alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the party will run the government in alliance with BJP only. He also said that the alliance of BJP and JDU has been there for many years and will remain so.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Chandravanshi said that the issues with BJP, if any, will be resolved through talks. He further said that there is no possibility of breaking the alliance with BJP as during the 15 years rule of RJD, there was a jungle raj in Bihar.
Bihar witnessed development after Nitish Kumar became the Chief Minister. Bihar is on the path of development, so RJD and JDU can never come together now and from Bihar to the Centre, JDU is with BJP.
Meanwhile, CM Nitish Kumar has demanded a probe into the Pegasus spyware scandal and also joined opposition parties in criticising provisions of the UP population draft bill which lays down penalties for those having more than two children. He has also sought an appointment with Prime Minister Modi to discuss the caste-based census in the state. He said he will lead an all-party delegation to meet Modi.
