Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday arrested two militant associates in Pulwama and busted a militant hideout in the downtown area of the district. During interrogation, one of the apprehended over ground workers (OGWs) revealed to the police that a Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Riyaz Sathrgund has been hiding in a house in the district.
"Pulwama Police and 50 RR with the assistance of CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Raziakadal in Nowhatta area of Srinagar. During searches, a hideout was discovered in the house," police said, adding that Riyaz Sathrgund is a wanted LeT commander and has been active for the last three years.
