ITBP soldier safely returns to India from Afghanistan

Among the soldiers who returned to India was Ravi Nilakar of Balaganur village in the Gadag district of Karnataka. Ravi, who joined the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) 12 years ago, served as the security commander at the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan for the last two years. However, following the take over of the country by the Taliban, the Central government took action and airlifted the ITBP soldiers.

Gadag, (Karnataka):The situation in Afghanistan has been in turmoil since the Taliban took control of the country. Many Indians, including the embassy security guards, were stranded in Afghanistan and living in the Taliban's fear. However, the Central Government is currently working speedily to bring them back to the country by various flights.

Among the soldiers who returned to India was Ravi Nilakar of Balaganur village in the Gadag district of Karnataka. Ravi, who joined the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) 12 years ago, served as the security commander at the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan for the last two years. However, following the take over of the country by the Taliban, the Central government took action and airlifted the ITBP soldiers. These soldiers have safely landed in Delhi. Ravi's family is pleased to hear his news of arriving in the country safely.

Meanwhile, Ravi has shared some horrific details of the ordeal they faced under the Taliban. He said that more than 200 Indian soldiers were attacked by the Taliban and Ravi also suffered injuries. The Taliban stole a brand new TV that Ravi purchased in Afghanistan. The Taliban also prevented them from boarding their flight. Ravi is currently undergoing quarantine in Delhi. He will undergo a mandatory RT-PCR test before returning to his home in the Gadag district of Karnataka. His family and relatives are excited and waiting for him to come home.
