IT officials take SBI employees' help to count cash in Hetero Drugs' lockers

The Income Tax department officials have found 40 lockers belonging to the Hetero Drugs in a private company at Ameerpet in Hyderabad. They took the help of SBI employees to count the unaccounted cash. But, till date, only 16 lockers were opened.

Hyderabad:Skeletons are tumbling out of Hetero Drugs' cupboard as the IT officials, who conducted a raid on the firm on October 6, found around 40 lockers of the firm in a private company at Ameerpet in Hyderabad.

It was reported that the IT officials have taken the help of the State Bank of India (SBI) employees in counting the large amount of unaccounted cash, which was stashed in that lockers. According to them, three SBI teams took three days to count the cash with machines. IT officers, who have seized the lockers and are yet to ascertain information about the unaccounted cash.

It may be recalled that IT officials seized Rs 142.87 crore cash and three-and-a-half kilograms of gold biscuits during the raids. They found that the company had 40 lockers, but till date only 16 lockers were opened.
