ISRO signs Non-Disclosure Agreement with Skyroot

Skyroot- a Hyderabad based company has signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to launch a privately designed and developed rocket, VIKRAM-I.

Bengaluru:The Department of Space has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Skyroot Aerospace Pvt. Ltd- a private company in Hyderabad, which deals with building small satellite launch vehicles.

The NDA will enable the company for accessing the facilities and technical expertise available in the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) centers to proceed with their launch vehicle development program.

During the historical moment, Skyroot representatives also met Dr K Sivan, Secretary, DOS and Chairman, ISRO and he assured all support to Skyroot for testing and qualifying their launch vehicle.

R Umamaheswaran, Scientific Secretary, ISRO, signed the agreement on behalf of DOS and Pawan Chandana, CEO, Skyroot Aerospace signed the agreement from the company side.

The NDA was signed in the presence of Shri S Somanath, Director, VSSC and other senior officials of ISRO.
