New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, intelligence agencies have found a new connection between Pakistan's premier intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Khalistanis.
A probe has revealed that ISI, with the help of cyber experts in Pakistan, is sending links to Khalistan sympathisers present in India's Punjab district to train them for manufacturing explosives.
Senior officials of the intelligence agencies have confirmed to ETV Bharat that the ISI held meetings with the commanders of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF), Sikh for Justice (SFJ), and Khalistani Tiger Force (KTF) in Pakistan.
Subsequently, the plan of online training on explosives was executed with the help of cyber experts.
The intelligence agencies have also received input regarding a terrorist associated with SFJ in Pakistan, who is sending links to make explosives to Khalistani sympathisers in Punjab, they said.
The officials further said that ISI has set up centres in Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Thailand to fund the SFJ.
In light of new findings, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), and the Border Security Force (BSF) have been asked to remain on alert and look after Khalistani-sponsored terrorists.
Notably, the Punjab Police had busted a pro-Khalistan terrorist module in September last year, by arresting two persons allegedly operating in connivance with five criminals, including a Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) operative in Amritsar jail.
