Intelligence agencies interrogate Dawood aide Danish Chikna

Danish Chikna, who managed the drugs business of gangster Dawood Ibrahim in Maharashtra's Dongri area was arrested from Rajasthan's Kota district on Thursday night.

Kota (Rajasthan): Danish Merchant alias Chikna who was detained by a joint team of Kota police Narcotics Control Bureau, was interrogated by the intelligence agencies here.

A team of Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Narcotics Control Bureau Jodhpur reached Anantpur police station where they questioned Danish.

Apart from this, the team of the Narcotics Control Bureau from Mumbai will also reach Kota. He will also be arrested after the production of a warrant in a recently filed NCB case in Mumbai.

Police informed that a substantial quantity of drugs has also been seized from his vehicle

According to the reports, Chikna, a drug peddler, is also a prime accused in at least six murder cases that were filed in different locations of Mumbai.

On Thursday, when the NCB got information about his possible movement towards Rajasthan, the drug control organisation informed the Kota police and conducted a joint operation in which they have intercepted Chikna along with a huge quantity of drugs.

Meanwhile, the NCB is probing further to find out their suppliers, financers, the foot-soldiers who deliver it to the final customers all over the city.
