New Delhi:After COVID-19 vaccines of Serum Institue of India and Bharat Biotech being granted permission for restricted use in an emergency situation, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Choubey on Sunday stated that India will become corona free. The BJP leader said that this is a big achievement for our country and also congratulated countrymen including scientists and health workers.

Choubey, who is also an MP from Buxar, heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that under his guidance India has bravely fought the corona war. The mock drill was conducted on Saturday across 125 districts at 286 sessions sites. Around 75 lakh people have registered themselves on Co-WIN app and the vaccine dry run was successful. 2021 is a year for health resolution and India will play a significant role in this.

"DCGI has approved the emergency use of Covaxin and Covishield. This is a major achievement in the successful war against Coronavirus under Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi's leadership," Choubey said in a tweet.

The remarks of the leader comes after COVID-19 vaccines of Serum Institue of India and Bharat Biotech were granted permission for restricted use in an emergency situation, said Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI).
