Hyderabad: India reported 41,506 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the data updated by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry at 8 am on Sunday showed. The overall tally of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 30,837,222. The COVID-19 death toll has climbed to 4,08,040 with 895 fresh fatalities. The country's active cases have further declined to 4,54,118.

According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, active caseload currently stands at 4,54,118 and total recoveries across the country so far are 2,99,75,064.
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 41,526 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 2,99,75,064 till date. The Ministry said that a total of 37,60,32,586 people have been vaccinated so far in the country under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 43,08,85,470 samples have been tested up to July 10 for Covid-19. Of these 18,43,500 samples were tested on Saturday.
