A two-day winter session of the Maharashtra legislature is set to start today

A two-day winter session of the Maharashtra legislature, starting here from Monday, will focus on the passage of supplementary demands and see tabling of bills related to the Shakti Act that aims to curb crime against women and children with strict provisions, including the death penalty.

2. MJ Akbar vs Priya Ramani: Delhi court to resume final hearing in defamation case today

A Delhi court is today scheduled to resume the final hearing in a criminal defamation complaint filed by former Union minister MJ Akbar against journalist Priya Ramani for allegedly defaming him by accusing him of sexual misconduct around 20 years ago.
