Hyderabad:Several parts of India are likely to experience rainfall in the coming days, while some areas are likely to be affected by hailstorms, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a statement. According to the IMD, North India is likely to receive light to moderate widespread rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds.
As per the IMD, South India may witness scattered widespread rainfall with thunderstorms. However, heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to witness over south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Kerala.
According to the weather department, light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds is very likely over the East India region during the next two days and reduction thereafter. Meanwhile, hailstorms are very likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal on May 3.
