'Illegal arms manufacturers in Bihar should be arrested soon'

Following the claims by the intelligence agencies that arms and ammunition recovered from the arrested Jammu student were made in Bihar, BJP leader RK Sinha urged CM Nitish Kumar to immediately take strict action against illegal arms manufacturers of the state.

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Rajya Sabha Member RK Sinha on Tuesday said that illegal arms manufacturers in Bihar should be brought to the book immediately.

He urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to look into the matter so that image of the state is not tarnished any further.

Sinha was speaking after the arrest of a nursing student in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

He said intelligence agencies have claimed that arms and ammunition recovered from the arrested student were made in Bihar.

It may be mentioned here that the Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday had arrested 4 people and recovered six pistols and 15 small Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from them in Samba district.
