Thirties are a time when your body goes through excessive changes. You become vulnerable to several conditions that you never had to worry about in your 20s. From sudden body aches to reduced metabolism rate to increased risk of kidney stones and UTIs in women, 30s can be a handful, clinically speaking. Luckily, there are certain simple ways to take care of yourself in your 30s that you can do yourself. Here are some of them.
Watch what you eat
Thirties are a time to embrace some lifestyle changes according to the changes in our body. In your younger years, you automatically have more freedom because your bodily functions are in their best form. These functions tend to slow down after the 30s and so should you. Cut down processed, oily, spicy and sweet food as much as possible. Add salads, fruits, leafy vegetables, fibre-packed foods to your diet as they will help you reduce the risk of cholesterol, heart issues, hypertension, etc. And don’t forget to listen to your mom and eat at a fixed time!
Start working out
You must have heard it a million times by now and it’s high time you paid heed to that. Dedicate a suitable time for your fitness needs. Start with mild exercises like walking, slow jogging, sit-ups etc. and then take it ahead from there. It is advisable that you be in touch with a professional so they could show you the right way. Many studies have shown that regular exercise can ensure the healthy functioning of your organs and bodily systems.
