Militants attack security forces in North Kashmir's Sopore

Sopore:Unidentified militants on Thursday opened fire on the security forces at the main chowk of Sopore town in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said. "Unidentified militants fired upon the CRPF and police personnel posted at the main chowk (Sopore). However, no loss of life or injuries have been reported so far," CRPF PRO, based in Srinagar, said. He said, the area has been cordoned off and searches have been launched to nab the attackers. 

A few days ago, four CRPF troopers, including a junior officer, and a civilian were injured in a militant grenade attack in the Baramulla district.
