Grenade attack on a police post in Anantnag

Suspected militants launched a grenade attack on the Sherbagh police post today. Going into details, the militants hurled a grenade at the Sher Bagh police station located in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir and later opened fire. However, no casualties were reported in the attack.

Immediately after the attack, the entire area was cordoned off and the search for the attackers is ongoing on a large scale. Police have registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
