Hyderabad:At least two people were confirmed dead in a fire that broke out at a four-storeyed hotel in Delhi's Dwarka. The two bodies were recovered. The firefighters received a call from the hotel staff at around 7.30 am and eight fire tenders were rushed to the venue, sources said. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. However, a cylinder blast is said to be the reason for the accident.
A total of seven people were on one of the upper floors of the hotel when the fire broke out. In a bid to save themselves, they attempted to jump out of the building by tying sarees on the sit-out grills. However, two of them sustained grievous burn injuries and died.
