Ex- Cong MP Devi Prasad Pal passes away

Devi Prasad Pal, a former Congress MP and former Union Minister died due to Coronavirus on Friday. He was one of the highest-paid lawyers and was one of the highest income taxpayers in India.

New Delhi:Devi Prasad Pal, a former Congress MP and former Union Minister died due to Coronavirus on Friday.

He was a three-time Congress MP and was also the Minister of State for Finance in the Narasimha Rao Government from 1995 - 1996.

He was also a member of The Tenth Finance Commission of India.

Pal, was a Senior Advocate and practised in the Supreme Court of India and High Courts of India and was considered to be one of the finest lawyers of India in taxation matters.

He was one of the highest-paid lawyers and was one of the highest income taxpayers in India.
