Recently, the Punjab DGP while briefing about the blast at Ajnala Petrol Pump had held the neighbouring country responsible for the drone activities along the borders, saying that efforts are being made for a long time to destabilise the environment in the state. There were also incidents reported of arms and ammunition being dropped using drones.

No official has confirmed the matter yet, but the area is being probed by the security personnel and investigative agencies. A strict investigation is also being done to prevent any untoward incidents.
