Amritsar (Punjab): An aerial drone activity has been witnessed by the Indian Armed forces along the line of control (LOC) along the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab. Several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) were earlier spotted flying dozens of times along the line of control with Pakistan. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had issued a high alert regarding drone attacks along the border in the last few days, post four major incidents having taken place in the last 40 days.
The Indian security personnel on Thursday having witnessed drone movements had opened fire but by then the UAVs returned back to Pakistan. It was BSF's '10th Batallion Team' that had monitored the drone activity.
