Dharmapuri MP steps in, seizes hundreds of liquor bottles

Senthil Kumar, MP from Dharmapuri constituency, took matters into his own hands and seized 177 bottles of liquor from an illegal hoarder.

Dharmapuri: As police failed to take prior action against the complaint filed by the public, Senthil Kumar, MP from Dharmapuri constituency stepped into the field and seized around 177 liquor bottles which were hoarded.

The incident happened near Nallampalli area in Dharmapuri district. The local residents filed a complaint against the hoarders and accused that liquor sales in this area go on by 24x7. But the police didn't initiate any action against the complaint. The issue came to MP Senthil Kumar's notice who decided to take action.

He strolled into the house of Soundarya, who sells liquor illegally. There he found illegal liquor stored inside beds, refrigerator and so. Then police also rushed to the spot and seized 177 bottles of liquor from there.
