New Delhi: Indian Railways on Tuesday informed that Delhi has received 64 per cent of the total Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) that has been transported all across the country in the last 24 hours.
Earlier on Tuesday, an Oxygen Express carrying 120 MT of LMO reached Delhi from West Bengal's Durgapur.
Another train from Gujarat to Gurgaon with 85 MT LMO and one from Odisha to Faridabad with 41 MT LMO reached on Tuesday.
"Of the total 382 MT of oxygen being delivered today by Railways, nearly 244 MT would be meant for Delhi, which is nearly 64% of total load being delivered today," Railways said in its statement.

Two more Oxygen Express to Delhi carrying more than 244 MT cumulative of Liquid Medical Oxygen are on their way from Gujarat (Hapa and Mundra) and are expected to reach Delhi today itself. With the arrival of two more Oxygen Expresses today, Delhi would see nearly 450MT of LMO in 24 hours beginning early hours to 4th May, read the statement.
On Tuesday, Telangana also received its second Oxygen Express from Angul in Odisha carrying 60.23 MT LMO. While Lucknow will receive today 79 MT of Oxygen from Bokaro in Jharkhand.
