India's current tally of cases stands at 3,22,25,513 and total recoveries at 3,14,11,924. As many as 4,31,642 people have lost their lives. The country currently has 3,81,947 active cases. The health ministry said 49,48,05,652 samples have been tested so far of which 11,81,212 were tested on Sunday.
More than 56.81 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States/UTs till now. More than 2.89 cr balance and unutilized vaccine doses are still available with the states and Union Territories, the government stated.
