New Delhi:India reported 30,256 new cases and 295 deaths in 24 hours ending 8 am on Monday, the Union Health Ministry said in a bulletin. With this, the total tally of active cases stands at 3,18,181 and the death toll at 4,45,133. The number of people who have recuperated from the disease has surged to 3,27,15,105. As many as 43,938 people recovered in 24 hours, as per the bulletin.

According to the health ministry, 55,36,21,766 samples have been tested till September 19 of which 11,77,607 were tested on Sunday. According to the ministry, more than 79.58 crore vaccine doses have been provided to states and union territories so far, and more than 15 lakh doses are in the pipeline. Over 5.43 crore vaccine doses are still available with states and UTs, the government said.
A total of 80,85,68,144 jabs have been administered so far of which 37,78,296 were inoculated in the last 24 hours.
