New Delhi: Indian Youth Congress on Saturday (IYC) took out 'Ahinsa March' on 73rd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and called upon the citizens of India to follow the Gandhian ideology. The leaders urged people to bring peace and harmony in the country amid the ongoing agitation of farmers against three farm laws.
Hundreds of IYC members led the March from Akbar Road to Gandhi Smriti at Tees January Marg in Delhi. Many of these were dressed up as Mahatama Gandhi to pay tributes to the Father of the Nation.
While speaking to Media, IYC President Srinivas BV said, "People who believe in the ideology of Godse are in power today, from which the country needs to be careful. Peace and harmony are necessary to stop the politics of hate and polarization in-country which is only possible by following the path laid by Mahatma Gandhi."
