New Delhi:Indian Youth Congress on Wednesday held a symbolic protest against the rising prices of petrol and diesel and has sought an immediate rollback of the hike in excise duty from the Central government.

While speaking to media, IYC spokesperson Rahul Rao asserted that even after a sharp fall in the prices of crude oil in the international market the general public is not getting the benefit of it. He also said that the common man is disturbed by economic recession and unemployment during the coronavirus outbreak and hence Petrol-diesel price hike has put more pressure on their pockets.
